Panie Jezu Chryste, Odwieczny Kapłanie,
Zachowaj Twoje sługi, kapłanów, W zaciszu Twego Najświętszego Serca, gdzie nikt nie może ich skrzywdzić.
Zachowaj od skazy ich namaszczone dłonie, które dotykają Twego Najświętszego Ciała.
Zachowaj ich wargi w świętości O barwie Twojej Najdroższej Krwi. Zachowaj ich serca w czystości i świętości, opieczętowane wzniosłym znakiem Twojego chwalebnego Kapłaństwa.
Niech Twoja święta miłość ogarnie ich i osłoni przed duchem tego świata.
Pobłogosław ich posługę poprzez obfitość jej owoców, a dusze, którym posługują, niech będą ich radością i pocieszeniem tu na ziemi i w niebie. Po ich zwycięskiej walce Z ciemnością, szatanem i światem, Podaruj im koronę wieczystej chwały w Twoim wiekuistym królestwie…
ROZWAŻANIE
Rachunek sumienia
„Ponieważ grzech zaślepia umysł człowieka, dlatego trzeba się pilnie badać. Rachunek sumienia jest starannym śledzeniem wszystkich grzechów popełnionych po chrzcie świętym, albo od ostatniej spowiedzi. Takie poznanie siebie samego nie jest rzeczą łatwą, jakbyście sądzili. Na to potrzeba pewnego czasu i mozołu. Chcąc dokładnie zrobić rachunek sumienia, należy swoje serce i myśli oderwać na pewien czas od doczesnych zajęć,( …) i z pochodnią w jednej ręce, a w drugiej z wagą zanurzyć się w głębiny serca i badać ściśle liczbę, okoliczności i rodzaj grzechu. Jedynie Bóg zna dokładnie te głębiny. A więc zwróćmy się do Niego z pokorną prośbą i ufnością, błagajmy gorąco Ducha Świętego o potrzebne światło. Gdy wejdziemy w siebie, mówmy z całego serca: Boże mój, zlituj się nad nieszczęśliwym grzesznikiem, który tyle nagrzeszył, a nie zna liczby i złości swoich występków. Do Ciebie się więc uciekam, który jesteś światłością świata. Spuść Twe promienie i rozjaśnij moje serce i pokaż mi grzechy, bym mógł za nie żałować i otrzymać przebaczenie.
Bez pomocy Bożej człowiek zgubi się w ciemnościach, które grzech sprowadza do duszy.
(…) Jeżeli nie będziemy błagali Ducha Świętego o światło, nie poznamy stanu swej duszy i nie będziemy mieli szczerego żalu (…) dlatego potrzebujemy pomocy Ducha Świętego bo nasze serce pełne jest pychy i ( … ) ukrywa lub zmniejsza swoje błędy.
(… )Tylko łaska Boża może nasze serca napełnić wielkim wstrętem do grzechu”.
Zatrzymaj się nad tekstem rozważań przez chwilę (ok. 10-15 min) i proś Ducha Świętego, by pomógł Ci zrozumieć te słowa. Zobacz, które słowo szczególnie Cię poruszyło, które dotyka Twojego życia. Zastanów się, co ono dla Ciebie znaczy. Im głębiej wejdziesz w te rozważania, tym więcej łask spłynie na Ciebie i innych. Pamiętaj, byś w tym rozważaniu starał się być sam z Panem Bogiem. Na koniec podziękuj Panu za to, co Ci dziś pokazał o Tobie.
Modlimy się wraz ze świętą s. Faustyną (Dz.1485):
Dusza: Panie, lękam się, czy mi przebaczysz tak wielką liczbę grzechów, trwogą mnie napełnia moja nędza.
Jezus: Większe jest miłosierdzie Moje aniżeli nędze twoje i świata całego. Kto zmierzył dobroć Moją? Dla ciebie zstąpiłem z nieba na ziemię, dla ciebie pozwoliłem przybić się do krzyża, dla ciebie pozwoliłem otworzyć włócznią najświętsze serce swoje i otworzyłem ci źródło miłosierdzia; przychodź i czerp łaski z tego źródła naczyniem ufności. Uniżonego serca nigdy nie odrzucę, Zrób Mi przyjemność, że Mi oddasz wszystkie swe biedy i całą nędzę, a Ja cię napełnię skarbami łask.
Dusza: Zwyciężyłeś, o Panie, kamienne serce moje dobrocią swoją; oto z ufnością i pokorą zbliżam się do trybunału miłosierdzia Twego, rozgrzesz mnie sam ręką zastępcy swego. O Panie, czuję, jak spłynęła łaska i pokój w moją biedną duszę. Czuję, że mnie na wskroś ogarnęło miłosierdzie Twoje, Panie. Więcej mi przebaczyłeś, aniżeli się ośmielałam spodziewać albo pomyśleć byłam zdolna. Dobroć Twoja przewyższyła wszystkie moje pragnienia. A teraz zapraszam Cię do serca swego, przejęta wdzięcznością za tyle łask. Błądziłam jak dziecię marnotrawne po manowcach, a Tyś mi nie przestawał być Ojcem. Pomnażaj we mnie miłosierdzie Twoje, bo widzisz, jak słabą jestem.
Jezus: Dziecię, nie mów już o nędzy swojej, bo Ja już o niej nie pamiętam. Posłuchaj, dziecię Moje, co ci pragnę powiedzieć: przytul się do ran Moich i czerp ze źródła żywota wszystko, czegokolwiek serce twoje zapragnąć może. Pij pełnymi ustami ze źródła żywota, a nie ustaniesz w podróży. Patrz w blaski miłosierdzia Mojego, a nie lękaj się nieprzyjaciół swego zbawienia. Wysławiaj Moje miłosierdzie.
Chwała Ojcu i Synowi, i Duchowi Świętemu, jak była na początku, teraz i zawsze, i na wieki wieków. Amen.

DAY SIX
Opening Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You chose Your priests and religious from among us and sent them out to proclaim Your Word and to act in Your Holy Name. For this great gift to Your Church, accept our praise and thanksgiving.
We ask You to fill them with the fire of Your love, so that their ministry may reveal Your presence in the Church. Because they are vessels of clay, we pray that Your power may penetrate their weakness. Do not allow them to be crushed in their trials. Grant that in moments of doubt they may never give in to despair, that they may not yield to temptations, and that in persecution they may not feel abandoned. Inspire them in prayer, that they may live each day the mystery of Your death and resurrection. In times of weakness, send them Your Spirit. Help them to praise Your Heavenly Father and to pray for poor sinners.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, place Your word upon their lips and pour Your love into their hearts, so that they may bring the Good News to the poor, and healing to the sorrowful and despairing.
May the gift of Mary, Your Mother, to the disciple whom You loved, be a gift for everyone called to Your service. Grant that she who formed You in Your human likeness may form them in Your divine likeness, by the power of Your Spirit and for the glory of God the Father.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, guide priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Light, enlighten priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Purity, sanctify priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Strength, support priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, grant that especially priests, enlivened and strengthened by Your grace, may bring the word of truth and the blessing of peace to the whole world.
May the fire of holy love inflame their hearts, so that in its flames they may purify and sanctify souls.
Holy Spirit, we entrust to You the hearts of priests and religious;
Shape them in the likeness of the Most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

REFLECTION Examination of conscience
Since sin blinds the human mind, it is necessary to examine oneself carefully. The examination of conscience is the diligent review of all sins committed after Baptism, or since the last confession. Such self‑knowledge is not as easy as one might suppose; it requires time and effort.
In order to make a thorough examination of conscience, one must detach one’s heart and thoughts from earthly activities for a while, (…) and, with a torch in one hand and a set of scales in the other, descend into the depths of the heart to examine carefully the number, circumstances, and kind of sins. Only God fully knows these depths
Therefore, let us turn to Him with a humble request and with trust, fervently imploring the Holy Spirit for the light we need. When we enter into ourselves, let us say with our whole heart:
“My God, have mercy on the wretched sinner who has sinned so greatly and does not know the number or the malice of his offences. To You, who are the Light of the world, I turn. Send forth Your rays, enlighten my heart, and show me my sins, so that I may regret them and obtain forgiveness.”
Without God’s help, a person will lose himself in the darkness that sin brings into the soul. (…) If we do not implore the Holy Spirit for light, we will not recognise the state of our soul and we will not have true regret. (…) Therefore, we need the help of the Holy Spirit, because our heart is full of pride and (…) hides or diminishes its faults.
(…) Only the grace of God can fill our hearts with a deep hatred for sin
We pray with Saint Sister Faustina (Diary 1485):
Soul: Lord, I doubt that You will pardon my numerous sins; my misery fills me with fright.
Jesus: My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world. Who can measure the extent of my goodness? For you I descended from heaven to earth; for you I allowed myself to be nailed to the cross; for you I let my Sacred Heart be pierced with a lance, thus opening wide the source of mercy for you. Come, then, with trust to draw graces from this fountain. I never reject a contrite heart. Your misery has disappeared in the depths of My mercy. Do not argue with Me about your wretchedness. You will give me pleasure if you hand over to me all your troubles and griefs. I shall heap upon you the treasures of My grace.
Soul: You have conquered, O Lord, my stony heart with Your goodness. In trust and humility I approach the tribunal of Your mercy, where You yourself absolve me by the hand of your representative. O Lord, I feel Your grace and Your peace filling my poor soul. I feel overwhelmed by Your mercy, O Lord. You forgive me, which is more than I dared to hope for or could imagine. Your goodness surpasses all my desires. And now, filled with gratitude for so many graces, I invite You to my heart. I wandered, like a prodigal child gone astray; but you did not cease to be my Father. Increase Your mercy toward me, for You see how weak I am.
Jesus: Child, speak no more of your misery; it is already forgotten. Listen, My child, to what I desire to tell you. Come close to My wounds and draw from the Fountain of Life whatever your heart desires. Drink copiously from the Fountain of Life and you will not weary on your journey. Look at the splendors of My mercy and do not fear the enemies of your salvation. Glorify My mercy.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, now, and always, and forever and ever. Amen
