Panie Jezu, Ty wybrałeś Twoich kapłanów i osoby zakonne spośród nas i wysłałeś ich, aby głosili Twoje Słowo i działali w Twoje Święte Imię. Za tak wielki dar dla Twego Kościoła przyjmij nasze uwielbienie i dziękczynienie. Prosimy Cię, abyś napełnił ich ogniem Twojej miłości, aby ich służba ujawniała Twoją obecność w Kościele. Ponieważ są naczyniami z gliny, modlimy się, aby Twoja moc przenikała ich słabości. Nie pozwól, by w swych utrapieniach zostali zmiażdżeni. Spraw, by w wątpliwościach nigdy nie poddawali się rozpaczy, nie ulegali pokusom, by w prześladowaniach nie czuli się opuszczeni. Natchnij ich w modlitwie, aby codziennie żyli tajemnicą Twojej śmierci i zmartwychwstania. W chwilach słabości poślij im Twojego Ducha. Niech dar Maryi, Twojej Matki, dla Twojego ucznia, którego umiłowałeś, będzie darem dla każdego powołanego do Twojej służby. Spraw, aby Ta, która uformowała Ciebie na swój ludzki wizerunek, uformowała ich na Twoje boskie podobieństwo, mocą Twojego Ducha i na chwałę Boga Ojca.

ROZWAŻANIE Błogosławmy Braciom i Siostrom, kochajmy w nich Boga
Patrzcie, jak Jezus Chrystus ubolewał nad ludzką nędzą i jak bardzo pragnął wszystkich uszczęśliwić! Opuścił Swojego Ojca w niebie i przyszedł na ziemię. Dla naszego szczęścia i zbawienia poświęcił Swoją sławę, a nawet życie, dobrowolnie umierając na krzyżu jako złoczyńca. Popatrzcie, jakie współczucie okazywał chorym, z jaką gorliwością ich leczył i podnosił na duchu. Widząc na pustyni głodne tłumy, robi mu się ich żal i cudownie rozmnaża chleb, żeby te rzesze nakarmić (por. Mt 15, 32). Apostołowie też oddali wszystko, żeby uszczęśliwić swoich braci. A pierwsi chrześcijanie, jak bardzo się nawzajem kochali! Duch Święty mówi o nich, że mieli jedno serce i jedną duszę (por. Dz 4, 32). Nieznana była między nimi zazdrość. Święci Pańscy z ochotą oddawali dla zbawienia braci swoje życie. Dla tego celu porzucali majątek albo rozdzielali go między ubogich i cierpiących. A kiedy nie mieli już nic, samych siebie sprzedawali w niewolę, żeby z niewoli wykupić jeńców. Ziemia stałaby się rajem, gdyby między ludźmi panowała cnota Bożej miłości. Ludzie cieszyliby się szczęściem swojego sąsiada, jego sławą, a współcierpieliby z jego nędzą, smutkiem i utrapieniem.
Nie dopuszczajmy do swoich serc przeklętego grzechu zazdrości, bo gdyby zapuścił on w nas korzenie, stalibyśmy się bardzo nieszczęśliwi. Kiedy duch piekielny podsuwa nam zazdrosne myśli, zwalczajmy je i okazujmy bliźniemu przyjaźń, nie zachowujmy się względem niego obojętnie i chłodno. Wręcz przeciwnie, z ochotą oddajmy mu jakąś przysługę. Jeżeli jego uczynki wydawałyby się nam złe, to pomyślmy sobie, że prawdopodobnie nie mamy racji. Poza tym pamiętajmy, że Bóg nie będzie nas sądził za cudze sprawy, tylko za nasze własne postępki. Komuś powodzi się lepiej i przez to rodzi się w naszym sercu zazdrość: przypomnijmy sobie natychmiast, że dobry chrześcijanin powinien dziękować Bogu za dobrodziejstwa, które zlewa On na jego brata. Gdyby nas ogarniała zazdrość na widok człowieka, który jest od nas bardziej cnotliwy i pobożny, pomyślmy sobie: „Dzięki Bogu, że są na świecie ludzie, którzy wynagradzają Stwórcy za moje zniewagi”.
Jeżeli chcemy się zbawić, to musimy życzyć dobrze bliźniemu, cieszyć się jego szczęściem, a martwić jego nieszczęściem.
Powiada bowiem św. Jan Apostoł:
Jeśliby ktoś mówił: „Miłuję Boga”, a brata swego nienawidził, jest kłamcą,
albowiem kto nie miłuje brata swego, którego widzi,
nie może miłować Boga, którego nie widzi (1 J 4, 20).
Spójrzmy na wspaniały wzór, którym jest dla nas Jezus Chrystus. Chcąc nas wyleczyć z przeklętego grzechu zazdrości, umarł za Swoich nieprzyjaciół – umarł, żeby nas, grzesznych, uszczęśliwić. Amen.
W każdym dniu nowenny zatrzymaj się nad tekstem rozważań przez chwilę (ok. 10-15 min) i proś Ducha Świętego, by pomógł Ci zrozumieć te słowa; zobacz, które słowo szczególnie Cię poruszyło, które dotyka Twojego życia; zastanów się co ono dla Ciebie znaczy; im głębiej wejdziesz w te rozważania tym więcej łask spłynie na Ciebie i innych, pamiętaj byś w tym rozważaniu starał się być sam z Panem Bogiem…
Na koniec podziękuj Panu za to, co Ci dziś pokazał, o Tobie…

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
Opening Prayer
Lord Jesus, You chose Your priests and religious from among us and sent them to preach Your Word and act in Your Holy Name. For such a great gift to Your Church, accept our praise and thanksgiving.
We ask You to fill them with the fire of Your love, so that their service may reveal Your presence in the Church. Because they are vessels of clay, we pray that Your power will penetrate their weaknesses. Do not let them be crushed in their afflictions. Make them never give in to despair in doubts, never give in to temptations, and never feel abandoned in times of persecution. Inspire them in prayer so that they may live the mystery of Your death and resurrection every day. In moments of weakness, send them Your Spirit. Help them to praise Your Heavenly Father and pray for poor sinners. By the power of the Holy Spirit, put Your word on their lips and pour Your love into their hearts so that they can bring the Good News to the poor and healing to the depressed and desperate. May the gift of Mary, Your Mother, to Your disciple whom You loved, be a gift to everyone called to Your service. Grant that She who formed You in Her human image, form them in Your divine likeness, by the power of Your Spirit and to the glory of God the Father.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, guide priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Light, enlighten priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Purity, sanctify priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Power, support priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, make especially the priests, enlivened and strengthened by Your grace, bring the word of truth and the blessing of peace to the whole world.
Let the fire of holy love kindle their hearts, so that in the flames of this love they may purify and sanctify their souls.
Holy Spirit, we entrust to You our priestly and religious hearts;
Shape them in the image of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

CONSIDERATION – Let us bless our brothers and sisters, let us love God in them
Look at how Jesus Christ lamented human misery and how much He wanted to make everyone happy! He left His Father in heaven and came to earth. For our happiness and salvation, He sacrificed His fame and even His life, willingly dying on the cross as an evildoer. Look at the compassion he showed to the sick, the zeal with which he healed and comforted them. Seeing hungry crowds in the desert, he feels sorry for them and miraculously multiplies bread to feed them (cf. Mt 15:32). The apostles also gave everything to make their brothers happy. And the early Christians, how much they loved one another! The Holy Spirit says of them that they had one heart and one soul (cf. Acts 4:32). Jealousy was unknown between them. The Lord’s saints willingly gave their lives for the salvation of their brethren. For this purpose, they abandoned their possessions or distributed them among the poor and suffering. And when they had nothing, they sold themselves into slavery to ransom the captives from slavery. The earth would become a paradise if the virtue of God’s love reigned among people. People would enjoy their neighbor’s happiness, his fame, and suffer with his misery, sorrow and affliction.
Let us not allow the accursed sin of jealousy to enter our hearts, for if it were to take root in us, we would become very unhappy. When the spirit of hell gives us jealous thoughts, let us fight them and show friendship to our neighbor, let us not behave indifferently and coldly towards him. On the contrary, let’s gladly do him a favor. If his actions seem wrong to us, then let’s think that we are probably wrong. And let us remember that God will not judge us for the things of others, but for our own actions. Someone is better off, and jealousy arises in our hearts: let us immediately remember that a good Christian should thank God for the benefits that He bestows on his brother. If we are jealous of a man who is more virtuous and pious than we are, let us think: „Thank God that there are people in the world who make amends to the Creator for my offenses.”
If we want to be saved, we must wish our neighbor well, rejoice in his happiness and worry about his misfortune.
For St. John the Apostle says:
If anyone says, „I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar,
for whoever does not love his brother whom he has seen,
he cannot love God whom he does not see (1 Jn 4:20).
Let us look at the wonderful example that Jesus Christ is for us. Wanting to cure us of the accursed sin of jealousy, He died for His enemies – He died to make us sinners happy. Amen.
On each day of the novena, reflect on the text of the meditations for a moment (about 10-15 minutes) and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand these words; see which word particularly touched you, which touches your life; think about what it means to you; the deeper you go into these reflections, the more graces will come to you and others, remember to try to be alone with God in this reflection…,
Finally, thank the Lord for what He has shown you today, about you…

Au nom du Père, du Fils et de l’Esprit Saint. Amen
Prière d’ouverture
Seigneur Jésus, Tu as choisi parmi nous Tes prêtres et Tes religieux et Tu les as envoyés pour proclamer Ta Parole et agir en Ton Saint Nom. Pour un si grand cadeau à ton Église, accepte notre louange et notre action de grâces.
Nous Te demandons de les remplir du feu de Ton amour, afin que leur ministère puisse manifester Ta présence dans l’Église. Parce qu’ils sont des vases d’argile, nous prions pour que Ta puissance pénètre leurs faiblesses. Ne permets pas qu’ils soient écrasés dans leurs afflictions. Accorde que, dans le doute, ils ne cèdent jamais au désespoir, ne cèdent jamais aux tentations, afin qu’ils ne se sentent pas abandonnés dans la persécution. Inspire-les dans la prière à vivre quotidiennement le mystère de ta mort et de ta résurrection. Dans les moments de faiblesse, envoie-leur ton Esprit. Aide-les à louer ton Père céleste et à prier pour les pauvres pécheurs. Par la puissance de l’Esprit Saint, mets ta parole sur leurs lèvres et déverse ton amour dans leurs cœurs, afin qu’ils puissent apporter la Bonne Nouvelle aux pauvres et la guérison aux déprimés et aux désespérés. Que le don de Marie, votre Mère, à votre disciple que vous aimiez, soit un don pour tous ceux qui sont appelés à votre service. Fais que celle qui t’a formé à son image humaine les forme à ta ressemblance divine, par la puissance de ton Esprit et à la gloire de Dieu le Père.
Esprit Saint, Esprit de Sagesse, guide les prêtres et les religieux ;
Esprit Saint, Esprit de Lumière, éclaire les prêtres et les religieux ;
Esprit Saint, Esprit de Pureté, sanctifie les prêtres et les religieux ;
Esprit Saint, Esprit de Puissance, soutiens les prêtres et les religieux ;
Esprit Saint, Esprit de Dieu, accorde que les prêtres en particulier, animés et fortifiés par ta grâce, apportent au monde entier la parole de vérité et la bénédiction de la paix.
Que le feu de l’amour saint enflamme leurs cœurs, afin que, dans les flammes de cet amour, ils purifient et sanctifient les âmes.
Esprit Saint, nous te confions des cœurs sacerdotaux et religieux ;
Façonne-les d’après les Sacrés-Cœurs de Jésus et de Marie. Amen.
CONSIDÉRER – Bénissons nos frères et sœurs, aimons Dieu en eux
Regardez comment Jésus-Christ s’est lamenté sur la misère humaine et combien il voulait rendre tout le monde heureux ! Il a quitté son Père qui est aux cieux et est venu sur terre. Pour notre bonheur et notre salut, Il a sacrifié Sa renommée et même Sa vie, mourant volontairement sur la croix comme un malfaiteur. Regardez la compassion qu’il a montrée aux malades, le zèle avec lequel il les a guéris et réconfortés. Voyant des foules affamées dans le désert, il eut pitié d’elles et multiplia miraculeusement le pain pour les nourrir (cf. Mt 15, 32).
Les apôtres ont aussi tout donné pour rendre leurs frères heureux. Et les premiers chrétiens, combien ils s’aimaient les uns les autres ! L’Esprit Saint dit d’eux qu’ils avaient un seul cœur et une seule âme (cf. Ac 4, 32). La jalousie était inconnue entre eux. Les saints du Seigneur ont volontairement donné leur vie pour le salut de leurs frères. Dans ce but, ils abandonnèrent leurs biens ou les distribuèrent parmi les pauvres et les souffrants. Et quand ils n’avaient rien, ils se sont vendus comme esclaves pour racheter les captifs de l’esclavage. La terre deviendrait un paradis si la vertu de l’amour de Dieu régnait parmi les hommes. Les gens jouiraient du bonheur de leur prochain, de sa renommée, et souffriraient de sa misère, de son chagrin et de son affliction.
Ne laissons pas entrer dans nos cœurs le péché maudit de la jalousie, car s’il s’enracinait en nous, nous deviendrions très malheureux. Quand l’esprit de l’enfer nous donne des pensées jalouses, combattons-les et montrons de l’amitié à notre prochain, ne nous comportons pas avec indifférence et froideur envers lui. Au contraire, faisons-lui volontiers une faveur. Si ses actions nous semblent mauvaises, alors pensons que nous avons probablement tort. Et souvenons-nous que Dieu ne nous jugera pas pour les faits des autres, mais pour nos propres actions. Quelqu’un est mieux loti, et la jalousie naît dans nos cœurs : souvenons-nous tout de suite qu’un bon chrétien doit remercier Dieu pour les bienfaits qu’il accorde à son frère. Si nous sommes jaloux d’un homme qui est plus vertueux et pieux que nous, pensons : « Grâces soient rendues à Dieu qu’il y ait des gens dans le monde qui réparent auprès du Créateur mes offenses. »
Si nous voulons être sauvés, nous devons souhaiter du bien à notre prochain, nous réjouir de son bonheur et nous inquiéter de son malheur.
Car l’Apôtre saint Jean dit :
Si quelqu’un dit : “J’aime Dieu et haïs mon frère”, c’est un menteur,
Car celui qui n’aime pas son frère qu’il a vu,
il ne peut pas aimer Dieu qu’il ne voit pas (1 Jn 4, 20).
Regardons l’exemple merveilleux que Jésus-Christ est pour nous. Voulant nous guérir du péché maudit de la jalousie, Il est mort pour Ses ennemis – Il est mort pour nous rendre heureux, nous pécheurs. Amen.
Chaque jour de la neuvaine, réfléchissez un instant au texte des méditations (environ 10 à 15 minutes) et demandez à l’Esprit Saint de vous aider à comprendre ces paroles ; voyez quel mot vous a particulièrement touché, quel est celui qui touche votre vie ; pensez à ce que cela signifie pour vous ; plus vous approfondissez ces réflexions, plus les grâces couleront sur vous et sur les autres, rappelez-vous d’essayer d’être seul avec Dieu dans cette réflexion…
Enfin, remerciez le Seigneur pour ce qu’Il vous a montré aujourd’hui, à votre sujet…
Prière de conclusion
Gloire au Père, au Fils et au Saint-Esprit, comme il était au commencement, maintenant et toujours, et pour toujours et à jamais. Amen
