Zachowaj od skazy ich namaszczone dłonie, które dotykają Twego Najświętszego Ciała.
Zachowaj ich wargi w świętości O barwie Twojej Najdroższej Krwi. Zachowaj ich serca w czystości i świętości, opieczętowane wzniosłym znakiem Twojego chwalebnego Kapłaństwa.

ROZWAŻANIE
Czy mam żal i skruchę kiedy się spowiadam?
„Złe spowiedzi zdarzają się z braku żalu i dlatego o skruchę powinniśmy Boga gorąco prosić. Kiedy zataimy grzech, doznajemy wewnętrznego niepokoju, coś nas gryzie, jakby dziki tygrys. Ale gdy żalu nie mamy, w zaślepieniu swoim wcale na to nie zważamy. O skruchę serca należy modlić się szczerze do Boga (…)
Kto chciałby wiedzieć, czy miał przy spowiedzi należyty żal, pozna to najlepiej z odmiany życia, jeżeli już nie oddaje się pysze, gniewom, zazdrości, skąpstwu, jeżeli nie oszukuje, jeżeli umartwia się, miłuje cnotę czystości, jest gorliwym w służbie Bożej itd.
Kto z rozmysłem nie podaje liczby grzechów ciężkich, albo gdy nie ma intencji szczerej odprawienia pokuty w chwili, kiedy mu ją nadaje spowiednik, ten się źle spowiada. (… )
Często także zdarzają się złe spowiedzi dlatego, że penitent już w czasie rozgrzeszenia nie ma ochoty naprawienia wyrządzonej bliźniemu krzywdy. Z tych uwag możecie poznać, że od czasu do czasu należy zastanawiać się nad dawniejszymi spowiedziami, spostrzeżone braki usuwać i naprawiać”.
Zatrzymaj się nad tekstem rozważań przez chwilę (ok. 10-15 min) i proś Ducha Świętego, by pomógł Ci zrozumieć te słowa. Zobacz, które słowo szczególnie Cię poruszyło, które dotyka Twojego życia. Zastanów się, co ono dla Ciebie znaczy. Im głębiej wejdziesz w te rozważania, tym więcej łask spłynie na Ciebie i innych. Pamiętaj, byś w tym rozważaniu starał się być sam z Panem Bogiem. Na koniec podziękuj Panu za to, co Ci dziś pokazał o Tobie.
Modlimy się wraz ze świętą s. Faustyną (Dz.1485):
Dusza: Panie, lękam się, czy mi przebaczysz tak wielką liczbę grzechów, trwogą mnie napełnia moja nędza.
Jezus:Większe jest miłosierdzie Moje aniżeli nędze twoje i świata całego. Kto zmierzył dobroć Moją? Dla ciebie zstąpiłem z nieba na ziemię, dla ciebie pozwoliłem przybić się do krzyża, dla ciebie pozwoliłem otworzyć włócznią najświętsze serce swoje i otworzyłem ci źródło miłosierdzia; przychodź i czerp łaski z tego źródła naczyniem ufności. Uniżonego serca nigdy nie odrzucę, Zrób Mi przyjemność, że Mi oddasz wszystkie swe biedy i całą nędzę, a Ja cię napełnię skarbami łask.

O Panie, czuję, jak spłynęła łaska i pokój w moją biedną duszę. Czuję, że mnie na wskroś ogarnęło miłosierdzie Twoje, Panie. Więcej mi przebaczyłeś, aniżeli się ośmielałam spodziewać albo pomyśleć byłam zdolna. Dobroć Twoja przewyższyła wszystkie moje pragnienia. A teraz zapraszam Cię do serca swego, przejęta wdzięcznością za tyle łask. Błądziłam jak dziecię marnotrawne po manowcach, a Tyś mi nie przestawał być Ojcem. Pomnażaj we mnie miłosierdzie Twoje, bo widzisz, jak słabą jestem.
Jezus: Dziecię, nie mów już o nędzy swojej, bo Ja już o niej nie pamiętam. Posłuchaj, dziecię Moje, co ci pragnę powiedzieć: przytul się do ran Moich i czerp ze źródła żywota wszystko, czegokolwiek serce twoje zapragnąć może. Pij pełnymi ustami ze źródła żywota, a nie ustaniesz w podróży. Patrz w blaski miłosierdzia Mojego, a nie lękaj się nieprzyjaciół swego zbawienia. Wysławiaj Moje miłosierdzie.
Chwała Ojcu i Synowi, i Duchowi Świętemu, jak była na początku, teraz i zawsze, i na wieki wieków. Amen.

DAY THREE
Opening Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You chose Your priests and religious from among us and sent them out to proclaim Your Word and to act in Your Holy Name. For this great gift to Your Church, accept our praise and thanksgiving.
We ask You to fill them with the fire of Your love, so that their ministry may reveal Your presence in the Church. Because they are vessels of clay, we pray that Your power may penetrate their weakness. Do not allow them to be crushed in their trials. Grant that in moments of doubt they may never give in to despair, that they may not yield to temptations, and that in persecution they may not feel abandoned. Inspire them in prayer, that they may live each day the mystery of Your death and resurrection. In times of weakness, send them Your Spirit. Help them to praise Your Heavenly Father and to pray for poor sinners.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, place Your word upon their lips and pour Your love into their hearts, so that they may bring the Good News to the poor, and healing to the sorrowful and despairing.
May the gift of Mary, Your Mother, to the disciple whom You loved, be a gift for everyone called to Your service. Grant that she who formed You in Your human likeness may form them in Your divine likeness, by the power of Your Spirit and for the glory of God the Father.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, guide priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Light, enlighten priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Purity, sanctify priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Strength, support priests and religious;
Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, grant that especially priests, enlivened and strengthened by Your grace, may bring the word of truth and the blessing of peace to the whole world.
May the fire of holy love inflame their hearts, so that in its flames they may purify and sanctify souls.
Holy Spirit, we entrust to You the hearts of priests and religious;
Shape them in the likeness of the Most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

REFLECTION
Do I feel regret and true remorse when I confess?
Bad confessions occur because of a lack of repentance, and therefore we should fervently ask God for true remorse of heart. When we hide a sin, we experience inner unrest—something gnaws at us like a wild tiger. But when we lack repentance, in our blindness we pay no attention to it. For true remorse of heart, one must pray sincerely to God…
Anyone who wishes to know whether they had proper repentance in confession will recognise it best by a change in their life: if they no longer give themselves over to pride, anger, envy, or greed; if they no longer deceive; if they practise self‑denial, love the virtue of purity, and are zealous in the service of God, and so forth.
Anyone who deliberately fails to state the number of mortal sins, or who does not sincerely intend to fulfil the penance at the very moment it is imposed by the confessor, makes a bad confession. (…)
Bad confessions also often occur because, even at the moment of absolution, the penitent has no desire to repair the harm done to their neighbour. From these considerations, you may recognise that from time to time one should reflect on past confessions, rectify what was lacking, and correct what needs to be amended.
On each day of the novena, reflect on the text of the meditations for a moment (about 10-15 minutes) and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand these words; see which word particularly touched you, which touches your life; think about what it means to you; the deeper you go into these reflections, the more graces will come to you and others, remember to try to be alone with God in this reflection…,
Finally, thank the Lord for what He has shown you today, about you…
We pray with Saint Sister Faustina (Diary 1485):
Soul: Lord, I doubt that You will pardon my numerous sins; my misery fills me with fright.
Jesus: My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world. Who can measure the extent of my goodness? For you I descended from heaven to earth; for you I allowed myself to be nailed to the cross; for you I let my Sacred Heart be pierced with a lance, thus opening wide the source of mercy for you. Come, then, with trust to draw graces from this fountain. I never reject a contrite heart. Your misery has disappeared in the depths of My mercy. Do not argue with Me about your wretchedness. You will give me pleasure if you hand over to me all your troubles and griefs. I shall heap upon you the treasures of My grace.
Soul: You have conquered, O Lord, my stony heart with Your goodness. In trust and humility I approach the tribunal of Your mercy, where You yourself absolve me by the hand of your representative. O Lord, I feel Your grace and Your peace filling my poor soul. I feel overwhelmed by Your mercy, O Lord. You forgive me, which is more than I dared to hope for or could imagine. Your goodness surpasses all my desires. And now, filled with gratitude for so many graces, I invite You to my heart. I wandered, like a prodigal child gone astray; but you did not cease to be my Father. Increase Your mercy toward me, for You see how weak I am.
Jesus: Child, speak no more of your misery; it is already forgotten. Listen, My child, to what I desire to tell you. Come close to My wounds and draw from the Fountain of Life whatever your heart desires. Drink copiously from the Fountain of Life and you will not weary on your journey. Look at the splendors of My mercy and do not fear the enemies of your salvation. Glorify My mercy.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, now, and always, and forever and ever. Amen
